GWLN has been named as an Association Partner of Global WIL (Women in Leadership) Economic Forum 2015. This year, the 17th edition in the series, Global WIL Economic Forum is taking place on November 2nd - 3rd 2015 in Abu Dhabi under the continued endorsement of the UAE Ministry of Economy. It is a single global platform for over 500 global business and thought leaders to discuss the challenges and principles of women in leadership. A global business consultant, leadership coach and Board Chair of Global Women's Leadership Network, Tanya Monsef Bunger will also be participating as a speaker of the program. May 3-8, 2015 - Women Leaders for the World 2015
Women Leaders for the World (WLW) is a six-month transformational leadership education program offered by Global Women’s Leadership Network. It is designed for women who are leading change to achieve gender equity around the world. Participants who are selected based on a set of criteria and recommendations come prepared to implement and declare a defined project. The residential component will begin on Sunday, May 3 and is followed by a coaching period that will take place through November 8, 2015. WLW graduates learn new skills and receive lifelong support, enabling them to achieve their commitment to impact global citizenship and social change. Join GWLN to welcome the 2015 class of Women Leaders for the World (WLW) where you will meet and engage with over 20 changemakers who are shifting local impact to global change. This year’s class represents 10 countries: Argentina, India, Kenya, Mexico, Morocco, Nepal, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, the United States and Zimbabwe. From advancing economic independence and girls’ education to stopping gender-based violence and human trafficking, all are working on solutions to improve the future of their communities.
